The processes to apply for the Nigerian Army 83 Regular Recruits Intake (83RRI) for tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women are outlined below.

Nigerian Army Recruitment Form Guide

The Nigerian Army (NA) is the land force of the Nigerian Armed Forces. It is governed by the Nigerian Army Council (NAC).

The Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are known as the Nigerian Armed Forces. Its origins can be traced back to components of the Royal West African Frontier Force, which became Nigerian after the country’s independence in 1960.

Nigerian Army Recruitment Form Guide: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to the 2022 Nigerian Army 83 Regular Recruits Intake (RRI) for tradesmen/women and non-tradesmen/women.

Nigerian Army Recruitment Basic Requirements

(1) Possess a minimum of 4 credits in not more than 2 sittings WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB. One of the credits must be the English Language.

(2) In addition to the above qualification, those applying as tradesmen women must also possess OND/Trade Test/City and Guild Certificate. Details are available on the website.

(3) Be between the ages of 18 – 22 years for non-tradesmen women while tradesmen women must be between the ages of 18 – 26years by 1st June 2021

(4) Not be less than 1.65 metres and 1.56 metres tall for male and female applicants respectively

How to Apply for Nigerian Army Recruitment

(1) Go to the Nigerian Army recruitment portal at recruitment.army.mil.ng

(2) Applicants are to apply once as multiple application will be disqualified.

(3) On submission of application online, applicants are to print out the completed application form which must include the following parts;
i) Declaration and Certification by Parents / Guardian Form.
ii) Local Government Area Certification Form.
iii) Police Certification Form.
iv) Guarantors Form.

(4) Candidates are to come along to the designated screening centres with the online printed forms.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Candidates are to note that there will be no Pre-Selection Computer Based Test.
  2. No Special centre for recruitment.
  3. There will be no Zonal Screening Exercise.
  4. All screening of potential recruits will be conducted at the candidates’ respective state of origin.
  5. Candidates are not to bring electronic or recording devices to the venue of the State Recruitment Exercise.
  6. Candidates are also expected to adhere to COVID-19 protocols which include regular washing of hands, use of face mask and observing physical distance.
  7. Any candidates who falsifies or forges his/her results and is discovered even during training at Depot NA would be withdrawn.
  8. Candidates are advised to come with their BVN printout.
  9. Candidates are advised in their own interest not to give any form of gratification of inducement to any person or group of persons to assist them in the recruitment exercise.

  11. Names of shortlisted candidates would be published on the NA website for the awareness of all candidates.
  12. Shortlisted candidates are to report to their respective states of origin for the screening exercise from 28 June – 11 July 2022.
